Label every corner and finished edge
Start with the shape you want, such as a triangle or rectangle, and label each corner on a simple sketch. Record the edge lengths and units, and state whether the drawing shows the finished sail or the distances between proposed support points.
Do not assume those measurements are interchangeable. The final pattern, clearances and fixing method need confirmation for the actual site and product before an order is approved.
List color, edge and hardware requirements
Name the selected color or sample reference and state any edge construction or corner details shown in the catalog. List hardware separately and ask what is included in the quotation; a photo that shows rings or accessories does not establish the supplied quantity.
If multiple sails have different shapes, colors or edge lengths, give each one a separate line. This lets the sample, drawing, quantity and packing records stay matched.
Use a drawing or approved sample for the final check
Before production, agree which drawing or physical sample controls the order. Record the version, finished edge lengths, corners, color and packing requirements together, then use the same record to check delivery.
A dimension sketch is not an engineering review. Have the responsible installer or qualified professional verify support points, anchors and site-specific loads; a supplier quotation or product image cannot certify installation safety.
Send a focused shade sail RFQ
Include application, shape, finished edge lengths and units, color, required edge treatment, hardware list, quantity, packaging and destination. Attach a labeled drawing if the corners or fixing points need explanation.
Available options, technical requirements, price and timing depend on the confirmed product and order. Keep unconfirmed items visible in the request so they can be resolved before approval.
