01

Define the view that matters to the buyer

Identify the use, the observer's side, approximate distance and viewing height. State what must be screened: for example, whether the buyer accepts visible outlines or needs specific background detail to be obscured. These are requirements to review, not a promise that a mesh will meet them.

If daytime and night-time privacy both matter, list them as separate checks under the relevant lighting. Approval under one condition does not establish the result under an untested condition. The catalog's black-green product name does not identify which face should point toward the observer; label the sample faces before reviewing them.

02

Compare samples under the same recorded conditions

Give each sample an ID and identify its supplier specification. Use the same background, observer positions and lighting when comparing candidates. Note how each sample is held and whether it represents the intended finished panel. Do not compare a folded or doubled sample with a single layer without recording the difference.

Use a stationary background object and agreed observation points so the review can be repeated without photographing neighbours or passers-by. If photos are used, keep the framing and camera settings consistent and label the sample, side and conditions. Images support the review; retain the physical sample for final approval.

  • Record the sample ID, face shown, observer distance and viewing direction
  • Record lighting on both sides and whether the review is by eye or supported by photos
  • Write what remains visible and mark each agreed condition accepted, rejected or not yet checked
  • Keep unresolved conditions open instead of writing a blanket “approved”
03

Keep visual approval separate from measured performance

A visual review can document what a buyer saw in those conditions. It does not produce a certified privacy percentage, shade rate, airflow value or service-life rating. The Jinhongyuan privacy-net catalog entry does not state these numeric values; ask for the applicable specification or test if a project requires one.

A small mesh swatch may help compare appearance, but it does not approve finished hems, eyelets or corner construction. Specify whether a finished-panel sample is also required. Keep the approved sample ID and specification revision together so later orders do not silently refer to a different mesh.

04

Turn the approved sample into a panel schedule

Give each panel size a line ID. Record finished width and height, units, quantity and the face intended for display. Label the drawing's top, bottom and sides, then mark which edges need hems and grommets. Identify the spacing reference, corner positions and any hardware requested separately.

State whether dimensions describe the finished fabric panel or the fence opening; they are not interchangeable instructions. Have the installer confirm the required fit and any allowance. The order drawing does not establish the suitability of the fence, support or attachment system.

  • Panel line ID and approved sample/specification revision
  • Finished dimensions, units and agreed tolerance
  • Display face, hemmed edges and eyelet drawing revision
  • Quantity by line and accessories included or excluded from the quote
05

Link packing and receiving checks to the same record

Ask for labels that match the panel line IDs and identify the display face where needed. Agree how different sizes will be separated in a pack and how the receiver will find the corresponding drawing and sample reference.

At receipt, count panels by line, check visible condition, and inspect the agreed sample quantity for dimensions, edges and eyelet positions. Compare appearance with the retained sample under the agreed viewing setup. Record the affected panel IDs and photos for any discrepancy. Available specifications, price, minimum order and timing still need confirmation for the actual order.

06

Copy this sample review record into the inquiry

Complete the record before approving a sample. Use “not checked” for conditions that still need review, and attach the same revision to the quotation and order.
